当今世界正处于大发展大变革大调整时期，中国倡导平等有序的世界多极化和普惠包容的经济全球化，推动各国携手应对挑战、实现共同繁荣。“面对一系列历史性变革，中国是重要的建设性力量。”苏维德表示，中国坚持在和平发展道路上推进现代化，强调与世界合作共赢、共同发展，“中国式现代化将对人类社会的发展进步产生重大影响。”
苏维德举例说，突尼斯有许多中国参与建设的学校和医院，这些项目极大改善了当地教育和医疗条件，造福广大民众。在突尼斯首都，中国援建的、已经使用30多年的芒扎青年文化体育中心，是突尼斯青少年最大最集中的活动场所之一。“近年来，越来越多的中国产品走进突尼斯，比如中国国产品牌汽车开始在突尼斯组装生产，得到广大消费者的认可。”苏维德说。
苏维德认为，中方提出构建人类命运共同体理念、全球发展倡议、全球安全倡议、全球文明倡议等一系列新理念新倡议，表明了中国与其他国家携手并肩、共同进步的坚定决心。中方提出的新理念新倡议着眼于人类共同的未来，强调共商共建共享、合作共赢，彰显了中国的世界观和发展观。中国在对外交往中，一贯主张尊重世界文明多样性，尊重其他国家自主选择社会制度和发展道路的权利。“突中友好合作前景广阔，我期待有机会去中国看看。”
